Connecting To Children

The mission statement for the Elementary Ministry at Southeast Christian Church is “connecting kids to Jesus and one another.” Everything we do is filtered through this mission. As soon as the children enter our wing, we are striving to build a relationship, to help foster new friendships, and to connect them to Jesus. Dear Chanley,
Thank you for welcoming me to pmconnect. Though I am from Uganda, I have started feeling at home in this pmconnect community especially that I have got you as a friend. No birth certificate is issued when friendship is born. There is nothing tangible. There is just a feeling that your life is different and that your capacity to love and care has miraculously been enlarged with out any effort on your part. It's like having a tiny apartment and somebody moves in with you. But instead of becoming cramped and crowded, the space expands, and you discover rooms you never knew you had until your friend moved in with you.
May God richly bless you and your ministry.

Things are going well with me. I'm actually in transition right now and am looking for a place to lead worship for full-time ministry. I'm still able to lead on occasion and God has been blessing those times tremendously. It is exciting to see God's hand at work in my life and in this trial. Please pray for me and if you know any pastors or churches that are looking for Worship Leaders let me know.
